Of course, this is a very watered down sample. You can find all sorts of other samples at various web sites on the Internet. As long as you include the basic information about your job experience, your education, and any awards or organizations, you will have a simple, to-the-point, resume.

Ideally it should be one page, but can extend to two pages if you need to include additional information in order to cover all your education, experience -- and whatever is need to get the job you are applying for. The cardinal rules are: keep it short, simple, and easy to read.

Look online for samples. You can choose one you like or you can combine components of all of them to make a resume that best represents you, your skills, and your experience. With a strong resume, you can move to the top of the pile of applicants and compel a potential employer to call you for a job interview. After that, it is all up to you!
